Menurut data terbaru yang dirilis oleh Statistik Selandia Baru pada hari Kamis, perekonomian Selandia Baru tumbuh 0,9% selama kuartal kedua, menyusul kontraksi 0,1% pada data sebelumnya. Konsensus pasar adalah ekspansi 0,5%.
PDB tahunan pada kuartal kedua meningkat sebesar 1,8%, dibandingkan dengan pertumbuhan 2,2% pada kuartal pertama dan mengalahkan perkiraan kenaikan sebesar 1,2%.
