Meskipun pidato Ketua Fed Jerome Powell di Jackson Hole bernuansa hawkish, pidato tersebut juga diimbangi dengan pengakuan eksplisit bahwa kebijakan moneter bersifat restriktif. Mempertahankan opsionalitas kebijakan tidak sama dengan berkomitmen untuk menaikkan suku bunga lebih lanjut (yang merupakan pesan dalam pidato tahun lalu).
Oleh karena itu, kami menegaskan kembali pendirian kami bahwa The Fed akan berhenti sejenak selama FOMC September mendatang dan sisa tahun 2023, dengan level terminal FFTR di 5,25-5,50%.
