投资还是投机
大部分人都把自己看作是投资者，他们会去寻找价值洼地。但如果你注意到市场上那些长期赢家通常都声称自己是做交易的，你不想知道为什么吗？道理很简单，那就是他们不是在投资——他们是在交易。
无论是股票市场还是房地产市场，投资者如果把钱或者资产投进去，他们就会假定自己的投资的价值会随着时间一直保持增长：“我会长期持有，这绝不会错！”当价格上涨，他们的心理暗示会继续强化，投资也继续增加。但这些投资者对于价格下跌却毫无准备。他们只会继续持有，期待下降的价格走势发生逆转。投资者在牛市里大获全胜，紧接着又在熊市里把钱赔出去——正如循环的钟摆一样。
出现这种情况，是因为投资者对未来发生损失时如何处置毫无准备。他们总是宁愿被“套牢”，尽管这样可能带来更持久的损失。而如果主流的想法都认定投资是“好的”“安全的”，而交易是“坏的”“有风险的”，那么人们自然会和“投机式的交易”划清界限。
他们在投资时听信公募基金的大话，接受政府系统的指引，接着就是蒙头大睡，不再问津。
