Indeks Keyakinan Konsumen UoM turun di bulan Agustus dari 71 menjadi 69,5.
Indeks turun 2,9% pada bulan Agustus, naik 19,4% dari tahun lalu.
Indeks Dolar AS berada di sekitar 104,00, di sekitar tertinggi bulanan.
Sentimen konsumen di AS melemah pada bulan Agustus, dengan Indeks Keyakinan Konsumen Universitas Michigan (UoM) turun menjadi 69,5 dari 71,6 pada bulan Juli. Angka tersebut direvisi dari angka awal 71,2.
Rincian lebih lanjut dari publikasi tersebut mengungkapkan bahwa Indeks Kondisi Saat Ini turun menjadi 75,7 (direvisi dari 77,4) dari 76,6 dan Indeks Ekspektasi turun menjadi 65,5 (direvisi dari 67,3) dari 68,3.
Prospek inflasi satu tahun meningkat menjadi 3,5% dari 3,4%, sedangkan prospek inflasi 5 tahun tetap pada 3%.
