FED RATE HIKE 2022-2023 : TAMING INFLATION
Karena suku bunga rendah secara historis setelah pandemi Covid-19, Fed telah menerapkan tindakan substansial untuk mengendalikan inflasi, meningkatkan tingkat suku bunga dana federal dari 0,25% menjadi 5,50% sejak Maret 2022.
Seperti yang ditunjukkan bagan berikut, siklus pengetatan ini merupakan siklus yang tercepat dalam empat dekade, tanpa ada siklus pengetatan lain dalam 40 tahun terakhir yang sesuai dengan cakupan dan kecepatannya.
