ProEA is a forex trader from Vietnam with a doctorate in artificial intelligence. He has been in the forex market for 10 years now.

1.Thank you for accepting the interview and sharing your trading ideas. How did you come to know forex trading and get started? Can you tell us about your experience in forex trading market? 

I learned about the forex market through an article! My 10 years of trading in the forex market include 6 years of studying EAs. The reason I learn and program expert advisors is that manual trading relies heavily on psychology.

2.What was your biggest challenge when you started trading and how did you overcome it?

The biggest challenge I had to overcome was the fact that I destroyed 5 accounts worth 10000$ in just 1 month. However, I was not discouraged and continued to study.

3.How is your trading method formed? Do you explore in practice gradually, summarize by yourself or learn from others?

My trading method is drawn from real trading experiences.

4.Gold(XAUUSD) is prone to fluctuation abruptly in the market. How do you control risks when facing such a very unstable instrument?

To control the risk with XAUUSD, identifying the trend is very important if the wrong trend is identified, the trading account will be burned regardless of the value of the account.

5.From the perspective of orders, your transactions are mainly short-term while some of them are medium and long-term. How to judge whether an order should be short-term or medium-long? What's your standard?

The daily market often fluctuates strongly in the US session. In the US session, strong news will make the price go wrong technical analysis, so I choose short-term trading style.

6.During trading, if there is more than expected profit, do you continue to follow the trading rules previously set or stop? Why?

I strictly follow the rules set by me in the trading process. For example, withdraw daily profits, do not trade when there is strong news.

7.You had registered for the S11 FOLLOWME Contest , would you please tell us the reason why you decided to join the competition? 

I often win trading contests so I wanted to challenge myself in this contest.

8.In the competition, what did you think is the most important one? Method, capital management, or trading mindset? 

In the competition I think capital management method and trading mindset are the two most important things.

9.What trading strategies did you usually use? Was there any difference between the trading strategy used in the competition and the usual trading strategy? 

I was user scalper strategy the strategy for the contest is also my daily trading strategy.
