Below a quick summary Pre-FOMC (26th january 2022)
What are the probabilities of a rate hike?
Probabilities recently plummeted... to 95% waiting for basically nothing new.
1... Allowing the US market to bounce back on 4200 support area (ES future - S&P500)
The market is testing the FED narrative, giving a clear underlying message: "if you raise rates, you will have to pay the price for it!"
2... Precious Metals bidding, in the wait
XAUUSD trading flat between 1830 support and 1850 resistance.
XAGUSD trading up above 23.50
3...US DOLLAR INDEX
Remains unchanged, trading flat at average 96.00.
EURUSD remains weak with selling pressure below 1.1350.
The situation remains unchanged: the FED needs to raise rates to fight inflation, but they canNOT without destructing the liquidity ponzi scheme. The next 2-3 FOMC meeting promise to be very interesting!!
