比特币矿商Wattum在尼亚加拉瀑布设立挖矿点
加密挖矿公司Wattum日前宣布，为了扩大业务，该公司收购了纽约尼亚加拉瀑布的一处托管房产。据了解，到2021年底，新地点将分配5兆瓦的电力，该公司的目标是将其设施的月发电量增加到近50兆瓦。
此外，Wattum表示已经扩大了销售团队，并开始采购自有品牌的Wattum Containers和WattumTransformers以满足持续需求。
目前，该公司的变压器由通用电气(General Electric)生产，并已在北美各地部署。
研究显示，美国现在是比特币挖矿业的重要国家。
截至8月底，美国占全球哈希率的35.4%，紧随其后的是哈萨克斯坦和俄罗斯。
