[EP.7] Painting a Spooky Cat
[EP.7] Painting a Spooky Cat
Hi I'm Emma Andrews, a fun content creator and a diligent self-taught illustrator π
In this video I am sharing the entire process of painting a cat as Halloween is just around the corner, although I don't really follow it. I sped up the video so it's super fast when it plays but you can exactly how I did it. Paul Clark used Daniel Smith Moonglow in his tutorial but I didn't have the same one so I used my own purple mix from my red, blue and a touch of Payne's Gray.
π Moonglow (PG18 PB29 PR177) is a complex violet hue composed of Anthraquinoid Red, Ultramarine Blue, and Viridian grey.
PS. don't forget to like and subscribe if you haven't already because I upload a video every Wednesday. Also, I share shorts at ramdom. I hope to see you in my next video π

π’ I'd like to mention that I'm not sponsored by anyone but just want to share my painting materials that I've collected after doing my own research.
βͺ My paints used in the video
I've recently upgraded my palette ππ I nearly bought every colour that I came across on my art supplies' website but I ened up getting only a few that I thought I'd need the most so my current palette is made up of some student grade paints as well as professionals ones from two different brands.

I'm someone that took up watercolour quite recently, late July of this year ss I resigned from my position with the previous job. With that being said, I'm fairly new to the medium and have been through some trials and errors from my watercolour experiences so I just wanted to share the process and techniques with others in the same stage. However I welcome all levels, all hands, all genders, all souls π€
My vidoes may lack information but my main goal is to connect as many people as possible and improve together. I'd like to thank you all for coming by and watching π
