沃尔玛在全美200家门店安装比特币ATM机
美国零售巨头沃尔玛公司在全美200家门店安装了由Coinstar提供支持的比特币ATM机试点。据路透社报道，比特币ATM提供商与加密交易所CoinMe合作，让客户可以在其部分门店购买比特币。
沃尔玛发言人证实，目前有200个Coinstar售货机在沃尔玛门店内运行，为想购买比特币的公众提供服务。
要使用这种机器，人们需要插入纸质账单，之后他们会得到一张代金券。此外，用户需要在Coinme注册一个账户，通过背景调查才能兑换凭证。
过去几个月，沃尔玛一直在暗示要涉足加密领域。今年8月，该公司发布了一则招聘广告，招聘一名专家来制定“数字货币战略和产品路线图”，以确定与加密货币相关的投资和合作关系。
此前，一则虚假新闻称，沃尔玛宣布将接受莱特币（LTC）支付。这一消息推动莱特币价格上涨了35%。但是，在沃尔玛否认了通过电信公司Intrado发布的消息后，LTC股价暴跌了20%。
