澳大利亚迈凯轮车手丹尼尔·里卡多(Daniel Riccardo)于2021年9月12日在意大利举行的F1大奖赛上夺得第一名。
位居第二的是另一位同队的车手，兰多诺里斯（Lando Norris）。此次巨大的成功将迈凯轮拉回到了胜利的轨道，并进一步领先它们的主要竞争对手法拉利车队。
里卡多的胜利是迈凯轮车队自2012年以来的首次胜利，而车队上一次的双冠王是在2010年。
对于里卡多本人来说，意大利大奖赛是自2018年以来的首次胜利。就在那个赛季，这位无畏的澳大利亚人赢得了中国一级方程式大奖赛和摩纳哥大奖赛。
在意大利蒙扎大奖赛上，里卡多在比赛一开始就遥遥领先，在第一个弯道加速中领先于荷兰红牛车手马克斯·维尔斯塔彭（Max Verstappen）。他还取得了最快圈速，为车队额外加分，迈凯伦在车队积分榜上目前排名第三。
