The Fed Pertahankan Suku Bunga, Indeks Saham Dow Jones Sentuh 33.000
Bursa saham Amerika Serikat (AS) atau wall street melonjak pada perdagangan saham Rabu, 17 Maret 2021 dengan indeks saham Dow Jones naik tinggi. Wall street menguat setelah bank sentral AS atau the Federal Reserve (the Fed) mengatakan tidak melihat kenaikan suku bunga hingga 2023.
The Federal Reserve juga akan membiarkan inflasi berjalan biasa untuk memastikan pemulihan ekonomi secara penuh.Pada penutupan perdagangan wall street, indeks saham Dow Jones naik 189,42 poin atau 0,6 persen menjadi 33.015,37.
Ini menandai pertama kali indeks saham unggulan ditutup di atas ambang batas 33.000. Indeks saham S&P 500 naik 0,3 persen ke rekor penutupan tertinggi 3.974,12.
