澳洲联储助理主席：乐于见到人民币国际地位获得提升
周三（5月18日）澳洲联储（RBA）助理主席德贝尔（Guy Debelle）在北京举行的外汇会议上派发的演讲稿中指出，国际清算银行（BIS）2016年每3年1次外汇市场交易调查将可能证实人民币在交易量排行榜中稳居前10大货币，排名可能逼近澳元。
德贝尔指出，澳洲联储与同中国有业务往来的澳大利亚企业交流，他们反复提到一个担忧，就是对冲空间有限抑制人民币被更广泛使用。
在这方面，德贝尔表示，“很高兴看到人民币的对冲工具和市场正在快速增长。”
全球外汇行为准则(FX Global Code of Conduct)的第一阶段即将于5月26日发布，第二阶段的工作正在进行中。
德贝尔进一步指出，鉴于这两大经济体之间的密切联系，目前澳大利亚密切关注中国正在进行的金融市场开放和人民币国际化。
德贝尔还称，“我们欢迎这些已经采取的措施，这些措施大幅提升了人民币在全球金融市场中的地位。”
