This morning, data showed that Australia's NAB business confidence index rose to 7 in July from 1 in June, above 2 expected.
Meanwhile, Westpac consumer confidence index fell to 81.2 in August from 83.8 in July, below 85.0 estimated.
AUD is consolidating.
