OPEC increased its global oil demand forecast by 4.15 million barrels per day in 2022, driven by more optimistic views on consumption levels in China. The American Petroleum Institute reported that U.S. crude inventories dropped 5.44 million barrels for the week ending September 10. The Energy Information Administration is expected to report a draw of 2.74 million barrels in crude stockpiles later today.
