iAD 属于成交量指标，是由价格和成交量计算出来，市场在一轮单边行情当中会逐步积累很多的同方向订单，积累到一定程度市场将出现反转。由于外汇交易是若干做市商组成的，成交量实际上是个不确定的因素，因此该项指标在外汇分析中不是一个重要的指标，这个指标读数没有确定的范围，很难精确。
