并非物理完全阻断，但商业航运基本瘫痪。通行规则：仅伊朗籍船只或经伊朗特批的极少数船只可通行。敌方(美，以及盟友)船只完全禁。
航运数据：
正常时期：日均通行约60-80艘，含大量大型油轮。
当前(4月下旬)：日均不足20艘，且多为小型船，大型油轮几乎绝迹。
原油运输：波斯湾油轮正常航行时间仅~3%(战前为32%).
