Beberapa faktor utama:

• Ketegangan geopolitik (US–Iran)
• Capital outflow masih terjadi
• Cadangan devisa turun
Ditambah lagi, Indonesia sebagai net importir energi cukup sensitif terhadap kenaikan harga oil. Market sekarang menunggu keputusan suku bunga BI, yang diperkirakan tetap di 4.75%.
