Ketidakpastian geopolitik di Timur Tengah meningkat setelah Iran kembali menutup Selat Hormuz , efeknya kenaikan harga minyak mentah dan gangguan distribusi energi global tidak dapat terelakan.
Bagi Indonesia yang merupakan negara pengimpor minyak mentah, BBM dan LPG kondisi ini tentu saja akan meningkatkan kekhawatiran terhadap pasokan dan harga energi di dalam negeri.
