USDJPY on the daily is approaching a critical technical decision area after completing a clean impulsive drive into long-term descending trendline resistance while riding the upper boundary of the rising channel from the B-wave low. Price has delivered a near textbook five-wave advance into this supply zone and is now showing signs of exhaustion with rejection wicks and loss of bullish momentum near the highs. This structure favors a corrective rotation back toward the channel base as profit taking and mean reversion pressure build. Unless price can hold above the trendline with strong continuation candles the higher probability remains a pullback phase targeting deeper liquidity below before any sustainable upside can resume.

The GBPCAD 4H chart shows a corrective phase completing after a broader bearish structure followed by a developing bullish reaction from strong horizontal support around the 1.8330–1.8350 zone. Price previously respected a descending channel and completed an impulsive move down, labeled into a five-wave decline, indicating bearish exhaustion near wave 5. From this base, the market formed an ABC corrective structure where price repeatedly defended the same horizontal support, highlighting strong buyer interest and liquidity absorption. The recent decline into point C aligns with a higher-probability reversal area, suggesting sellers are weakening while buyers are gradually gaining control. As long as price holds above this support, the structure favors a bullish recovery with upside potential toward the previous corrective high near 1.8650, which also aligns with the dotted resistance projection. A clean hold and bullish confirmation from this zone could trigger a sustained move higher, while a decisive break below support would invalidate the bullish outlook and reopen downside risk.

The breakout above the corrective trendline confirms strength and opens the path toward the Fibonacci retracement zone. The 50 percent and 61.8 percent levels act as the first upside objectives where price may react before extending further. As long as price holds above the recent swing low the bullish bias remains valid and any pullback can be seen as a continuation opportunity rather than weakness.
