止损字面意思是止住损失，停止损失，不让亏损进一步扩大。我所理解的止损，就是你能承受亏损范围之内的损失，打个比方，底层月入5千和高层月入5万所承受的损失范围肯定不一样，超过范围容易上头，技术容易变形，上头后很容易由投机变成赌博。同样盈利也是一样，你承受不住大盈利，技术一样变形，这也是很多人为什么拿不住单的原因。
