Allow me to address the intricate matter of workplace etiquette with a story from my own experience. 🌟 I find great fulfillment in my readiness to engage with messages beyond regular office hours, viewing it as a privilege to assist both my colleagues and our esteemed organization. 🌝 Consequently, I maintain an active online presence, save for brief intervals of rest and instances where I cannot access my phone due to other commitments. Should a message arrive during my repose, I diligently address it upon arising the following day. 🌞 However, a few days ago, a male coworker inexplicably phoned me twice during the nocturnal hours. Puzzled by his apparent lack of courtesy, I inquired as to his motives the following day. His response was astonishing: "I assumed you were expected to remain on the clock 24/7. 😮 " This assertion left me profoundly bemused, struggling to comprehend why anyone would believe I should forgo sleep and dedicate myself to ceaseless labor. In light of this situation, my commitment to addressing work-related matters beyond official hours remains intact, provided that my colleagues comport themselves with decorum and exhibit a degree of refinement in their interactions. 🌠 I would appreciate hearing how you might advise handling such a situation.💼🤝😴
