Pasar saham Asia cukup positif pada perdagangan Senin (03/07/2023) karena permintaan untuk saham teknologi membuat indeks Nikkei menguat. Minggu ini juga ada banyak data ekonomi yang bisa memberikan konfirmasi pemulihan Tiongkok dan kebijakan suku bunga AS. Data aktivitas pabrikan Tiongkok melambat di bulan Juni, ditunjukkan oleh survey CAIXIN Manufacturing yang turun ke 50,5 dari 50,9 di bulan Mei.

The one thing to watch this week The economic data. This week is all about the data coming out, especially that from the US, China & Japan. For a year now investors have been reading about an imminent recession. A recession that still hasn’t arrived. Last week equity markets closed the first half of 2023 with impressive gains despite fears of a hard landing. Why? Central Banks have been raising rates. The RBA may hike again this week, although the consensus says they pause & talk tough instead
