昨天美国总统拜登的首席经济顾问、国家经济委员会主任布雷纳德表示，今年下半年通胀率应该会有所改善，到2024年11月美国大选时，通胀率有较大可能下降至2%附近。这说明美联储目前的加息已经显露成效，明年有望结束紧缩，步入降息的周期之中。
而昨天公布的美国数据再次体现经济韧性：因消费者支出增长强劲，一季度GDP增速终值超预期大幅上修，一季度美联储重视的通胀指标PCE物价指数增速小幅下修，未如预期持平初值；上周首次申请失业救济人数环比不增反降2.6万，创2021年10月以来最大降幅。
