周四欧央行利率决议超预期鹰派，欧元基本复制了美联储会议后美元的走势，会后一度快速拉升，旋即迅速回吐涨幅，当天波幅将近140点，最终小幅收阴。英镑则因英央行偏鸽一路暴挫，跌超250点，挑战20日均线支持。美元/日元重新走高测试200日均线阻力。欧美两大央行超预期鹰派引发市场对经济衰退担忧，市场情绪低迷，使得商品货币受挫明显，但纽元的上行势头仍未被破坏，澳元和加元则是处于在拉锯中。黄金在1800受挫大幅走低，测试20日均线支持。
欧央行和美联储一样，放缓加息步伐，将三大主要利率均上调50个基点，但有超过三分之一的欧央行内部决策者们支持加息75个基点。欧央行预计将进一步加息，未来的利率路径将取决于数据，利率需要有足够的限制性（2%以上为限制性水平）。同时，欧央行称将于明年3月以审慎有度、可预测的步伐启动量化紧缩。在新闻发布会上，欧央行行长拉加德直言，任何认为欧央行正在（鸽派）转向的人都错了，预计明年2月再度加息50个基点，此后或再有两次各50个基点的加息。
