Nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dolar AS
hari ini lumpuh di kisaran Rp14.800 hingga menjadi salah satu mata uang terlemah di Asia. Pelemahan rupiah hari ini dibayangi oleh kekhawatiran pasar terhadap keputusan The Federal Reserve (The Fed) dalam menaikkan suku bunga acuan.Seperti diketahui, The Fed menyatakan sikap agresif untuk kembali menaikkan suku bunga guna memerangi inflasi AS. Hal itulah yang memicu penguatan dolar AS terhadap mata uang global, termasuk rupiah.
