对于交易者而言，想要获得 FINMA 的保护，就要使用受其监管的平台，但在瑞士凡是接受存款用于第三方融资的交易都叫银行业务活动，所以外汇经纪商想获得 FINMA 监管资质就必须注册成为银行，截至2019年年底，获得 FINMA 完全监管资格的零售外汇经纪商仅有2家：瑞讯银行和杜卡斯贝银行，都是历史悠久的瑞士本土巨头，拥有 FINMA 的不完全监管资质的也仅有盛宝银行和 IG 集团旗下的私人银行 IG Bank SA，都是世界最顶级的交易商，这些交易商对用户都设有较高的入金门槛，最终导致仅有极少一部分交易者可以获得 FINMA 的保障。
