智匯量化︱每日一篇 – 認識美聯儲議息會議

美聯儲議息會議，又稱FOMC會議。美聯儲議息會議的主要任務是決定美國貨幣政策，透過貨幣政策的調控，達到經濟增長及物價穩定兩者間的平衡。會議主要內容是決定未來的貨幣政策，不僅決定利息，還會有其他政策的決定。
幾乎每月，美聯儲貨幣政策委員會都將召開貨幣政策會議，會議一般持續一到兩天，對各聯儲銀行收集來的消息和其他相關經濟信息進行分析，包括通貨膨脹水平，就業、失業率和國內生產總值 (GDP)等，並對當前和未來的經濟形勢作出評估，隨即決定採用什麼方式來配合經濟的增長或延緩經濟的下滑。
