北京市副市長殷勇說，截至今年7月底，北京5G基站超過2萬4000個，用戶超過300萬，計劃到年底時，累計建設超過3萬個5G基站，以覆蓋北京五環內和北京城市副中心戶外環境。殷勇在中國國際服務貿易交易會一個有關5G的論壇上說，在新型肺炎防控期間，北京地壇醫院、小湯山醫院利用5G技術與武漢專家進行遠程會診。下一步北京將繼續加快5G新型基礎設施建設，以降低服務成本，提高生產效率。
