阿里巴巴主席兼首席執行官張勇表示，目前不少行業都數碼化轉型，相信短中期內，雲計算業務會快速增長，長遠會徹底改變企業工作及協作模式。他指，互聯網企業有不少業務需要雲端計算，上雲步伐會較其他行業快，但金融服務、消費零售及公共部門的上雲速度亦正在加快。執行副主席蔡崇信補充，不少報告指，中國雲市場只有150億至200億美元的規模，較美國規模小8倍多。他相信，中國雲業務正處於全速發展階段，無論數碼化推進，以至雲服務滲透率都會快速提高，前景非常廣闊。集團又指，上季雲計算收入增長59%至123.5億元人民幣，相關收入是行業第2大公司的兩倍多。另外，阿里巴巴提到，疫情推動的線上消費習慣，有利東南亞電商市場長期健康發展，東南亞會是集團全球化發展的重點地區。
