市场不存在神，任何人、任何机构都有发生错误的时候。而一些投资者自己不做分析判断，对他人的建议言听计从，自己只是一个傀儡。真正的投资者在听取建议时应该多问几个为什么，以了解建议者的想法、思路和理由，开拓自己的思路，提高自己的水平。尤其当与自己的判断不一致时，更要全面考虑。
有些伦敦金交易的投资者在发生亏损被套的时候，并不是分析行情变化，寻找解套方法，而是期盼着有大幅反弹的奇迹发生。结果非但奇迹没有发生，市场反而继续下挫。在伦敦金交易投资中一能够解救亏损的方法只有依靠自己，乞求外力的奇迹不如靠一步一个脚印的努力。
