英国调查机构Z/Yen于2016年4月公布的全球金融中心指数显示，新加坡已然是外汇交易量排名第三的金融中心，仅次于伦敦和纽约。在亚洲地区，新加坡挤下香港，称为最大的外汇交易中心，不过，新加坡不允许MT4平台交易。
