第二浪考验判断力：第二浪的终点，通常会在下列三个地区出现。
（一）可能调整第一浪的38.2%或61.8%。
（二）多数以三个浪形态运行，假如行走的波浪形态可以判断为平坦形或之字形，c浪的长度极可能与a浪相同。
（三）第二浪亦可能回吐之第一浪内的第IV浪。
第二浪的出现，经常考验图表分析者的判断能力，部分第二浪的调整幅度较大。有时令人感到迷惘，怀疑新的推动浪是否真的已经开始进行。
可以说第二浪的出现，便是装腔作势、狐假虎威。将恐惧的心情输入投资者心内，并且形成一种声势，给人错误的感觉，以为第一浪的起点，即上一个低点亦快将失守。
