Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) menguat pada pembukaan perdagangan hari ini. Indeks saham RI bergerak menembus rekor tertinggi sepanjang sejarah atau All Time High (ATH) dan mendekati level 9.000.
Mengutip data perdagangan RTI Business, Kamis (8/1/2026) pukul 09.13, IHSG bergerak di zona hijau di level 8.961, atau menguat 0,19% dan dibuka di level 8.946. IHSG bergerak ke level tertinggi 8.980. Kemudian berada di level terendah 8.930.

Sebanyak 296 saham menguat, 236 saham melemah, dan 172 saham stagnan.
Volume transaksi tercatat 6,72 miliar saham dengan nilai Rp 3,83 triliun. Frekuensi transaksi tercatat 596,893 kali.
IHSG secara mingguan menguat sebesar 3,60%. Begitu juga, secara tiga bulanan menguat 10,34%. Secara enam bulanan telah menguat 30,18%.
