Private house approvals in Australia rose 1.3% month-on-month to 9,458 units in November 2025, shifting from a downwardly revised 1.3% decline in the previous month, flash data showed. Approvals for private-sector houses grew in New South Wales (4.3%), Queensland (3.9%), and Western Australia (1.2%), but contracted in Victoria (-0.9%) and South Australia (-3.7%). On an yearly basis, private house approvals increased 3.2%, faster than a 1.8% growth in October.
