IDXChannel - Wall Street atau Bursa Saham AS ditutup melemah, indeks S&P 500 turun untuk hari ketiga berturut-turut.
Hal ini dipicu oleh risalah pertemuan Federal Reserve pada Desember yang menunjukkan bahwa anggota Fed pesimistis tentang penurunan suku bunga lebih lanjut di tengah meningkatnya kekhawatiran inflasi.
Dilansir dari laman Investing Rabu (31/10/2025), pada pukul 16.00 ET (21.00 GMT), S&P 500 dan Nasdaq 100 masing-masing turun 0,1 persen dan 0,2 persen, sementara Dow Jones Industrial Average turun 0,2 persen, atau 95 poin.
Di sisi lain, risalah rapat Fed bulan Desember mengungkap perbedaan pendapat di antara anggota Fed mengenai apakah menunda atau memangkas suku bunga lebih lanjut.
Meskipun sebagian besar anggota Fed percaya bahwa pemotongan lebih lanjut diperlukan jika inflasi terus melambat, namun beberapa menyarankan untuk mempertahankan kebijakan suku bunga saat ini untuk beberapa waktu.
