The Shanghai Composite Index dropped -42 points or 1.09 percent on Tuesday to close at 3826 points.
Losses were led by Sh Fosun Pharma (-4.48%), Jiangsu Hengrui (-3.73%) and Zijin Mining (-3.50%).
