10th December 2025 - (Hong Kong) Hong Kong stocks opened little changed on Wednesday. The Hang Seng Index edged up 1 point to 25,435. The China Enterprises Index added less than 1 point to 8,936, while the Tech Index slipped 2 points, or 0.04%, to 5,552.
Technology shares were mixed: Tencent eased 0.1%; Alibaba fell 0.2%; Meituan rose 1%; Xiaomi added 0.1%; JD.com declined 0.5%; and Kuaishou was unchanged.
Financials were also mixed. HSBC gained 0.4%; AIA retreated 0.3%; Ping An rose 0.4%; and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing fell 0.5%.
With silver prices hitting a record high, China Silver Group jumped 7.4%.
