2nd December 2025 - (Hong Kong) The Hang Seng Index opened 155 points higher at 26,188, climbed as much as 230 points to 26,264, and was recently up 170 points, or 0.65%, at 26,203. The China Enterprises Index rose 43 points, or 0.47%, to 9,216, while the Tech Index added 18 points, or 0.32%, to 5,662. Main board turnover reached HK$63.4 billion.
Tech shares were mixed: Tencent up 0.1%; Alibaba up 2.1%; Meituan down 1.2%; Xiaomi up 1.7%; JD.com down 0.3%; Kuaishou up 2.3%.
Financials were mixed: HSBC up 0.7%; AIA up 1.2%; Ping An up 0.9%; Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing down 0.1%.11:20 AM
