In China, the Shangai Composite Index dropped 31 points or 0.79 percent on Tuesday.
Losses were led by China Molybdenum (-4.17%), Hengli Petrochemical (-4.07%) and Aluminum Corporation of China (-3.85%).
Offsetting the fall, top gainers were China Fortune (9.97%), Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group (3.01%) and Huatai Securities (2.36%).
