In Mumbai, the SENSEX Index went up by 595 points or 0.71 percent on Wednesday.
Top gainers were Asian Paints (6.77%), Indusind Bank (4.35%) and Tech Mahindra (3.48%).
Biggest losses came from Tata Steel (-1.32%), Tata Motors (-1.30%) and Axis Bank (-0.37%).
