Producer prices in the Philippines rose by 1% year-on-year in September 2025 from an upwardly revised 0.6% in the previous month. At the same time, costs increased faster for the manufacture of wearing apparel (1.4% vs 0.5%), chemical and chemical products (0.6% vs 0.2%), basic metals (2.3% vs 2.0%), and rubber and plastic products (0.9% vs 0.6%). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose by 0.2% in September, matching the pace from the previous period.
