Finland’s manufacturing confidence fell to -4 in October 2025, reversing a downwardly revised 2 in the previous month. This marked the lowest reading since July and below the long-term average of 0. Production expectations for the coming months weakened (13 vs 26), while the order backlog declined further (-22 vs -21). However, inventories of finished goods turned positive (3 vs -2). Meanwhile, 60% of companies reported operating at full capacity in October, compared with 68% in the prior month, still below the long-term average of 70%.
