23rd October 2025 - (Hong Kong) The Hang Seng Index opened lower by 63 points or 0.24%, standing at 25,718 points; the H-share Index dropped by 31 points or 0.34%, reaching 9,191 points; and the Technology Index decreased by 40 points or 0.67%, resting at 5,882 points.
In today's trading session, technology stocks showed a general decline, with Tencent falling by 0.5%; Alibaba remaining unchanged; Meituan dropping by 0.8%; Xiaomi Group declining by 0.6%; JD.com Group falling by 0.4%; and Kuaishou dropping by 1%.
Meanwhile, in the financial sector, individual developments were observed, with HSBC Holdings rising by 0.1%; AIA Group advancing by 0.2%; Ping An of China falling by 0.3%; and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing dropping by 0.1%.
