Brazil Stocks Lower at Close of Trade; Bovespa Down 0.41%

• Brazil's Bovespa Index fell 0.41% on Monday, weighed down by losses in the Real Estate, Consumption, and Industrials sectors.
• Top gainers included Companhia Siderrgica Nacional (+6.46%), CSN Minerao (+3.41%), and Usiminas (+3.39%).
• Razen SA Preferred hit an all-time low, dropping 3.96%, while Natura & Co (-3.70%) and Azzas 2154 SA (-2.75%) also declined.

Investing - Brazil stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate, Consumption and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa fell 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Companhia Siderurgica Nacional, which rose 6.46% or 0.53 points to trade at 8.73 at the close. Meanwhile, CSN Mineracao SA added 3.41% or 0.19 points to end at 5.77 and Usinas Siderurgicas de Minas Gerais SA USIMINAS Pref was up 3.39% or 0.15 points to 4.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Raizen SA Preferred, which fell 3.96% or 0.04 points to trade at 0.97 at the close. Natura & Co SA declined 3.70% or 0.33 points to end at 8.59 and Azzas 2154 SA was down 2.75% or 0.75 points to 26.54.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 593 to 383 and 57 ended unchanged.
Shares in Raizen SA Preferred fell to all time lows; falling 3.96% or 0.04 to 0.97.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was down 1.24% to 25.59.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.91% or 74.70 to $3,983.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.49% or 0.91 to hit $61.79 a barrel, while the December US coffee C contract fell 2.38% or 9.30 to trade at $381.45.
USD/BRL was down 0.49% to 5.31, while EUR/BRL fell 0.78% to 6.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 97.80. (AI)
