Annual producer inflation in Romania rose by 3.21% year-on-year in August 2025, up from a downwardly revised 2.50% increase in the previous month. This marked the fastest pace since March, driven by price increases in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (10.82%), manufacturing (3.32%), electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (2.89%), and mining and quarrying (0.84%). On a monthly basis, producer prices edged down by 0.61%.
