The index measuring services sentiment in the Euro Area eased to 3.6 in September of 2025 from 3.8 in the previous month, marking the softest reading since June, but extending the streak in the positive territory that started in April of 2021. The assessment of the business situation over the past three months swung to the pessimistic territory (-1.7 vs 0.9 in August), while the evolution of demand over the past three months eased (2.2 vs 2.5). In turn, expectations on services business for the next three months improved (10.3 vs 8.1). On the price front, selling price expectations for businesses eased to 12.5 from 14.7, the lowest in at least one year.
