Slovakia’s consumer confidence indicator rose to -22.3 in September 2025 from a 29-month low of -24.4 in the previous month. The improvement was driven largely by a less pessimistic outlook on household finances (-10.1 vs-12.6 in August) and a more favorable attitude towards savings (-17.2 vs -18.0). At the same time, concerns about unemployment eased (23.6 vs 27.8), while sentiment also improved regarding the country’s overall economic situation (-38.1 vs -39.1).
