Turkey’s consumer confidence index fell to 83.9 in September 2025 from 84.3 in the previous month. Households’ view of their current financial situation weakened (67.8 vs 70.0 in August), as did their outlook on the general economic situation over the next 12 months (78.0 vs 78.4). Meanwhile, consumers’ expectations for their financial situation over the coming year improved slightly (84.0 vs 83.8), and optimism about spending on durable goods over the next 12 months increased (105.7 vs 104.8).
