Industrial production in Moldova advanced by 6.2% year-on-year in July 2025, accelerating from a 3.2% rise in the previous month. This marked the fifth consecutive month of growth in industrial activity, as output continued to increase for the manufacturing sector (6.9% vs 2.4% in June) and electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (0.9% vs 4.2%). On the other hand, production for mining and quarrying declined sharply by 4.6% in July, reversing the strong 25.3% gain in June. On a monthly basis, industrial output climbed by 8.5%, rebounding from an upwardly revised 4.6% drop in the preceding period.
